Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University has reopened the Stage-1 challenge evaluation application portal for even semester students until July 31, 2026.

Extension of Application Deadline

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, has officially extended the deadline for students seeking Stage-1 challenge evaluation for the 2025-26 even semester examinations. According to a circular issued on July 30, 2026, by Controller of Examinations Prof. Deepak Nagariya, the application portal is reopened from July 30, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

The facility is applicable to enrolled students across various courses whose results have been declared for examinations held between May 07, 2026, and June 11, 2026. Final-year students who missed applying during earlier phases in June 2026 are also eligible to submit applications for their respective subjects.

Stage-1 Fee Structure and Guidelines

To access and view their digitally evaluated answer sheets, candidates must complete the application through the university’s ERP portal. A fee of Rs. 300 per subject must be deposited online via the student’s ERP login.

The process is conducted in accordance with Uttar Pradesh Government Order No. 39298/16-1099/17/2020 dated November 26, 2020, and accompanying guidelines from the Governor’s Secretariat. Once the application window closes, the digitally evaluated answer scripts will be made available directly in the students’ ERP accounts.

Stage-2 Evaluation Rules and Marking Policy

Students who remain dissatisfied after reviewing their evaluated answer scripts may apply for Stage-2 challenge evaluation. This secondary phase requires a fee of Rs. 2,500 per subject submitted via the ERP portal, with further operational details to be issued in a separate notification.

The university has outlined specific guidelines regarding the final marks and fee refunds for the challenge evaluation process:

  • The final score will be calculated as the average of marks awarded by two subject experts.
  • The calculated average will be accepted as final and reflected on the mark sheet, regardless of whether it is higher or lower than the original score.
  • If the difference between the average marks and original marks exceeds 20 percent, an amount of Rs. 1,000 will be retained, and the remaining Rs. 1,500 will be refunded to the candidate.

Directive to Affiliated Institutes

The university administration has instructed the directors and principals of all affiliated institutions to immediately inform their students regarding the revised dates. Institute heads have been requested to facilitate the necessary procedures to ensure interested candidates complete their applications within the stipulated timeframe.
